It took six intensive months to write and 46 years to plan; Dee Blick’s first book, Powerful Marketing On A Shoestring Budget For Small Businesses, has now been published. It will be officially launched on 21 January 2009 at Crawley Town Football Club to an invited audience of 90 business people, journalists and business organisations. As the title suggests, the book is aimed at small businesses that want to grow- without spending over the odds on marketing. Said Dee, "it has always been my intention to write a marketing book that explains in a no-nonsense, practical manner exactly how a small business can get incredible results from their marketing and I am thrilled that the book is finally in my hands. I have used small business case studies throughout and focused on the marketing tactics that every small business owner wants to get to grips with. There are in-depth chapters that cover PR on a shoestring, advertising, direct mail, E marketing, networking, exhibitions, telephone cold calling and marketing planning. My aim in writing the book was to share hundreds of really powerful tips, tools and strategies that any small business owner can use to get results from their marketing efforts."
If the initial critic reviews are anything to go by, then the book looks set to become a bestseller. It is already on its way to America where it will be reviewed by the world’s top performing Action business coach.
