Mantra Magazines, the group that produces the monthly magazines, RH10 Uncovered and RH19 Uncovered have asked Dee Blick to write a monthly marketing column. 

Both magazines are distributed by the Royal Mail to 38,000 homes in the RH10 Uncovered and RH19 Uncovered district. Said Dee, "I was delighted when Nikki Relffe Arnold who is the publisher, asked me because this marks a new venture for me, sharing marketing tips with the home-based businesses that receive the magazines. 

Over the coming months, I will share ideas and tips on subjects including branding, advertising, PR and networking. These are subjects that most small business owners want to get a handle on, but they often fall at the first hurdle through lack of knowledge. So much of what is written in the marketing textbooks is about theory, whereas my approach is to bring theory and practice together. To this end, I hope that my articles will go some way to inspiring small-business owners to put marketing at the heart of their business."
